To whom it may concern,
I have known Jeremy Wiseman for his 6 ½ year tenure at YearOne Software. During this time,
Jeremy held the position of Quality Assurance Tester for a .NET windows form product that I
developed and maintained as Software Developer. Jeremy’s responsibilities included:
• Black Box Testing
• Dynamic Testing
• Exploratory Testing
• System Testing
• User Acceptance Testing
As part of the testing procedure, Jeremy was responsible for submitting bug reports via the Fogbugz
Project Management tools. He created videos using Instant Demo, showing the exact steps required
to replicate a bug. Jeremy’s bug reports were always complete, clear and concise. His excellent
communication skills helped to ensure that I received all the information I required.
Jeremy has worked with many different Windows Operating Systems. His role as Quality Assurance
Tester involved setting up many virtual machines in XenCenter, which he became very proficient at.
He was always happy to help me out by setting up machines for my own work, which saved me a lot
of time.
I have found Jeremy to be exceptionally hard working. He is willing to learn new things and will put
in the extra time to complete tasks. Jeremy spent many weekends studying for the ISTQB online
course, which he did on top of his workload for YearOne Software.
Jeremy is very passionate about the IT industry and reads many online articles to keep up-to-date
with the latest technologies. He has provided me with many different products and ideas that could
be used as part of our work at YearOne Software.
Overall, Jeremy is a reliable, trustworthy, and helpful person to work with. His interest in Javascript
Automated Testing and willingness to learn new things will certainly help him move forward in his
career in the IT industry.
