Hossam Azazy's professor wrote a letter of recommendation for him to pursue a PhD program in Europe. The professor taught Hossam during his MSc program, where he demonstrated strong interest and knowledge of irrigation systems. Hossam presented his graduation project clearly and obtained the highest mark. The professor believes Hossam has the qualities, such as being organized, motivated, and ambitious, needed to succeed in further academic studies like a PhD program.

1. To whom it may concern,
I am writing this support letter following the request of Hossam Azazy, who intends
to participate to PhD programs in Europe and to continue his scientific training. I would like
to express my sincere appreciation for his work ability, for his approach to scientific research
and for the great motivation to improve his knowledge in the field of Land and Water
Resource Management.
I have known Hossam since 2013, when he enrolled in the MSc in Agricultural
engineering at the Department of Agricultural and Forest Sciences of University of Palermo.
As lecturer of ”Irrigation Systems”, I could notice the strong interest showed by Hossam to
this topic, as well as his good knowledge, the adequate professional background associated to
very good communication skills.
During the final exam, Hossam presented clearly his graduation project and work’s
results, showing his ability to deliver a clear, concise, and well-thought presentation with a
new perspective. He passed all the planned exams and completed his Master thesis
successfully obtaining the full mark (110/110) of the MSc program in Agricultural
Engineering.
Besides that, he is organized, motivated, ambitious and he has list of positive
traits/skills.
Knowing his tendency to improve himself, I believe that Hossam Azazy has the
conditions for any further advanced studies, such as PhD programs or any other specialized
academic training.
