Employers are looking for three main things in candidates: fit, will do, and can do. Fit refers to whether a candidate's personality and values align with the organization's culture. Will do refers to a candidate's personality, passions, interests, ambitions, and motivation for the role. Can do refers to a candidate's relevant knowledge and skills for the role. The document provides advice on career planning, assessing interests and skills, researching career options and pathways, sources for labor market information, tips for resumes and cover letters, and contact information for the career counselor.
