Balloon White Glue and Paintbrush Used Paper OR Tissues Cut into Strips The Outline Of a Mask Decorations Wooden Stick and straw Needed:
Inflate the balloon and draw the outline of your mask, either manually or use a picture as a stencil. Put some white glue in a cup and add some water to it. Process:
Place a strip of paper on the balloon within the lines of the mask and soak it with the glue mixture. Repeat until you have covered the mask with about 10-12 layers.
Leave it to dry for about 24 hours, making sure that the balloon does not burst. Then remove the mask from the balloon and cut the mask the shape you want.
Paint your mask the colour you want and leave it to dry.
Decorate your mask to your liking. In this case some lace and glitters were used.
You can either attach a string to both sides of the mask and wear the mask or you can use a decorated piece of straw with a piece of wood in it to keep it in front of your face..
