Dr. Lehel Simon is recommended for his innovative research highlighting relationships between neurohormonal regulation, social factors, and psychology. His work effectively organizes experts from different fields to understand complicated biological and psychological processes, and applies scientific findings to pharmaceutical research. Dr. Simon's goal of better understanding and influencing human sexuality from demographic and happiness perspectives could reduce misunderstanding about human sexual behavior.

In this column, I want to highlight our first, foundational branch of social psychiatry – psychiatric epidemiology and public mental health by focusing on the Social Determinants of Health (SDoH). I consider SDoH the basic science of social psychiatry.

How much do we really understand about Schizophrenia and to what extent is so...Pırıl Erel
This essay analyses what the mental disorder Schizophrenia (SZ) is, examining in detail medical research such as; symptoms and behaviour of patients, how to identify this mental disorder what type of treatment is available. Furthermore it will explore society’s behaviour towards this disorder and scrutinising the question ‘To what extent are we responsible for the nurture and care of vulnerable individuals?’

1. To Whom It May Concern:
As a physician, sociologist, and statistician I am happy to recommend to you an excellent
scientist, Dr. Lehel Simon.
Lehel has written a series of innovative papers on endocrinology highlighting the relationships
between neurohormonal regulation and social and psychological factors.
He is good at understanding and presenting the scientific underpinning of complicated biological
and psychological processes and finding the important links between them.
Lehel is an effective organizer and good manager bringing together experts of very different
fields.
His research focusses not only on theoretical aspects but also on applied science with an
emphasis on pharmaceutical research.
Lehel wants to better understand and influence human sexuality.
This is of paramount importance both from a demographic perspective in the time of critical
population growth, and from the perspective of human happiness.
His research paves also the way of reducing misunderstanding and prejudice concerning human
sexual behaviour.
Bright and dedicated, Lehel garners my unequivocal recommendation.
Sincerely,
Laszlo Molnar MD MSc PhD
