To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Michelle Tracchia Efendi and I am writing to provide both a personal and
professional reference for Mr. Wahyu. Knowing him since July 2011, I feel confident to
recommend him for LBDP scholarship candidate position.
Mr. Wahyu is knowledgeable of International Baccalaureate procedures and processes. He
has attended international IB conferences and participates in daily professional trainings.
Knowing him first as a sixth grade tutor and now as a third grade teacher, Mr. Wahyu’s
skills are above average because he understands of both PYP and MYP structures.
Among other things, Mr. Wahyu is responsible for preparing and executing his curriculum.
Along with daily responsibilities, Mr. Wahyu independently mentored a fifth grade student
during his PYP Exhibition project; the topic was the safety of plane transportation in
Indonesia. Mr. Wayhu guided the student throughout his inquiry process; the student
graduated successfully with Mr. Wayhu’s leadership.
As a male PYP teacher amongst primarily females, Mr. Wahyu is uniquely caring. He
provides masculine leadership and is a role model for boys and girls; essential for balanced
development.
Being the English Specialist at Al Jabr Islamic School and a native speaker, I believe Mr.
Wahyu is verbally fluent in English. Witnessing him in and out of the classroom, I have
always heard him speaking English with students and the school community. He has
understandable English writing and grammar skills; he is extremely qualified for teaching
in English to all ages.
I have had the pleasure to associate with Mr. Wahyu personally outside of the workplace.
He has met my husband and members of my family. I know Mr. Wahyu as a diligent and
respectful colleague and friend.
Please accept this letter of reference for Mr. Wahyu. I am available to answer further
questions on this matter via email.
Sincerely,
Ms. Michelle Tracchia Efendi
