RE: Letter of recommendation for El Mehdi Kharbouch
Dear Sir/Madam:
I am pleased to submit this letter of recommendation on behalf of El Mehdi Kharbouch. Mehdi started at Hay Group
in September 2013, and worked until March 2014. He reported to me and I had the opportunity to work with him
closely on a daily basis.
When I met Mehdi, several things became readily apparent. First, he is an intelligent person who actively listens. This
combination of skills enables him to digest information quickly and to work effectively. Second, Mehdi has a
significant level of interpersonal skills and organizational awareness. These skills enable him to work well with peers,
senior staff and clients.
Mehdi performed the role of Assistant Information Associate. When he started, he had no previous knowledge of our
industry, our clients or our processes. Despite that, he jumped in with both feet and quickly started to generate work
product that was top notch. Mehdi follows directions well, but not blindly – if he sees something that doesn’t appear
to make sense, he seeks appropriate inputs from more experienced staff.
Mehdi has a superior attitude toward quality work – if it’s going to have his name on it, he ensures that work product
is accurate and complete, the first time around. If that meant working late, that’s what Mehdi did, without complaint
and without advertising how hard he was working to anyone who would listen.
Mehdi worked well on his own as an individual contributor and was also an excellent team player. His positive
attitude, regardless of looming deadlines and mountains of work, helped his team tremendously. Mehdi’s sense of
humor is well developed and used appropriately to help minimize stress for himself and those around him. Mehdi
used his written and verbal communication skills well, both internally and externally.
In short, Mehdi was an asset to Hay Group and I have no doubt he’ll be an outstanding addition to any organization. If
you have any questions, or require any additional information, please call me at 215.861.2633 or email me at
