It was an absolute pleasure having Ellyn Bouscasse as our marketing intern at RISE
Kombucha during the summer of 2015.
Ellyn possesses an extremely strong set of skills that made her an absolute asset to us. Her
fluency in three languages and ability to flawlessly use all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite
enabled her to excel in a work environment which is fast-paced and demanding. She was
extremely cognizant of deadlines and worked very independently. Most importantly
though, she was not uncomfortable asking for help when needed and was always looking
for ways to improve certain processes and structures within the department.
During her internship, Ellyn learned to work with the company’s software (CRM and CMS)
enabling her to update our website. She also created many vital documents (like our RISE
media kit and sponsorship contracts) to help institute a framework for future partnership
and business relations. Lastly, Ellyn assisted in both the planning and execution of many of
our biggest summer events including trade shows, festivals and cocktail nights.
Working with Ellyn has been a wonderful experience, she adapts quickly to new
environments and is extremely positive. In the rare times she made a mistake, she was
always very self-reflective and openly sought ways to remedy the problem. I am extremely
confident in her ability to excel in any workplace and would highly recommend her as a
candidate for any job she applies for.
