Over the past three years Paul Sonnier has been a part of our crew on the Noble Sam Croft working as our
Electronics Technician. Since I met Paul in South Korea as new personnel, while the Noble Sam Croft was nothing
more than a blue print on a sheet, he has shown to be more than qualified for his position and a vital part of the
team. Although Paul was assigned as part of the maintenance department of the vessel, which mainly deals with the
drilling aspect of operations onboard, he was always willing and able to help us in the engine room at a moment’s
notice. From trouble shooting small circuitry, recalibrating air conditioning modules, to even assisting side by side
with us while overhauling engines, Paul has been there. His ability in his own field has exceeded expectations with
us and with his maintenance department and his broad working background has made him even more of a positive
impact with the team. Paul is a safe, careful, and efficient worker who takes great pride in what he is challenged
with, in fact, he takes all new projects as a challenge and will not quit until the problem is solved. His individual
determination is something of its own, and has been impressive to watch over the years of working with him. Paul is
certainly an individual who would bend over backwards to help any of his team members and has proven time and
time again that he is someone that any company would want on their team. I highly recommend Paul to be
considered for a position with whichever direction he chooses to go and I know that he will continue to impress
wherever he ends up.
