In this screenshot I have created a Binary Coded Decimal (BCD) Conversion block to
send and recieve real number values between my S7-1200 PLC and 2 Fanuc Robots
as part of the integration needed between systems on my current project.
Here is a typical Boot screen ive created, it comes up on powering the machine up and
contains contact details for service/spares etc.
Here is my master process screen,
It usually contains all of the information a user would want to continually look at and
is obvious at a glance.
In this case tank temperatures, jig pressures and positions, robot statuses, safety door
statuses and similar information.
The machine is for VTL who are going to use it for Indexing Jaguar Engine blocks for
high pressure cleaning.
The machine also has a highly programmed safety controller, here is a screenshot of
some of the program Ive written to handle some of the safety issues the machine has.
Here is a screenshot of the safety hardware (Wieland Samos Safety Controller)
It is basically a very close copy of the more familiar 'Pilz' make safety controller.
Here is a shot of some of the signal scheme I developed in order to integrate the PLC
and Robots together.
