He is worried about the people in America who suffer from educational apartheid due to their immense poverty levels. The author is famous for his fight against social inequality, trying to bridge the gap between the able people and the unable in the state. Most of the Americans living far away from the city are the most affected since their education is not perfect at all. From the reader’s response, it is clear that the schools that these children learn from provide low quality information since the infrastructure is not developed to support quality education in the place. However, it is through determination that the students from these schools learn with much stress and are able to succeed maximally. For example, the students are able to read extremely hard and move extra miles to ensure that they make it. For example, a reader may wonder why famous people like Bill gates and Martin Luther were able to succeed in life.
