businesses are having more
and more trouble in the current
Economy.
According to the USDA recent prices are
down world wide on everything from Cattle
to Chicken and from Corn to Wheat, on
average -17%
BUY Ranchers and Farmers have little choice
where to go to sell or buy their products.
ME! They are forced to use a linear system that
is out dated going from producer to market
to buyer to consumer.
This gives the buyer control
of the market hurting the
farmer and rancher.

7. WHY NOW?
One of the oldest Industries in the world,
ranching has been done the same way since
the early 1690’s
Since the early 1700’s cattle Ranchers herd
cattle, and then bring them to ’market’ for
buyers
Producers have been keenly interested in the
export market, particularly Mexico, Japan, and
Korea, and, more recently, Russia since the
decline of prices in the US in the 1980’s
In the 1990’s the invention of the internet
created a new global market for the whole
world
The decline of the global economy has forced many industries to look for better ways and more
recourses
In 2007, 75 percent of U.S. farms with incomes of $250,000 or more have Internet access.
In 2009, ranchwabble.com is born creating a new marketplace for ranchers and farmers world wide

by 74,000. The number of farms with sales of more than $500,000 grew by 46,000
during the same period. These numbers continue to rise with the increase or organic.
There are 2,204,792 farmers and over 800,000 ranchers in the US. There are also over
