I, RAJESH BILAS presently working with M/s Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd. as a SAFETY OFFICER at
Samtanagar Rehab Project & Alpine Tower, High rise buildings at Mumbai. Mumbai residential projects
comprises of two-60 storied towers & 7-30 storey towers of residential apartments, as well as common
area, Swimming Pool, Multi level Car parking with total strength of 2500 workforce (Samtanagar).
This experience includes preparing site specific HSE plan and emergency plan for Site and Labour camps.
Enforce zero harm policy in the site. Preparation of Project HIRAC, participating in Incident Investigations
and root cause analysis. Evaluating contractors as per the HSE plan. Preparing site related HSE procedures.
Organizing Safety events and other health related camps. Identifying the project Legal requirements and
comply with all legal requirements. Coordinating with statutory authorities, Clients and consultants.
Conducting Internal audits. Preparing Waste Management plan and comply with the requirements at site.
Coordinating with client and ensure that all the Safety regulations of client are followed at site. Organize
HSE meetings fortnightly with Safety committee and contractors and also organizing tripartite meetings
with User dept., contracts dept. and Contractors. Developing safety professionals by inducting and training
safety management skills .Conducting safety awareness programs like “Proud to wear PPE”, “Reporting
Near Miss”, “Defensive driving skills”. Coordinating and monitoring all MEP services works at site. Revise,
review and achieve the targets and objects of the site. Report and record all the HSE documents ( HIRAC,
Site Inspections, incident reports, Monthly reports etc.)
I am well aware of the OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 Standards and implemented them in my projects. In 8
years of my experience, I worked in various project across India(Power Plants, Civil & structural work, High

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
 To support and promote all HSE policies and procedures implemented by the company
 Administer the HSE related policies on the site.
 Review on a continuous basis the HSE policy and HSE systems and implementation of procedures
on the project.
 Coordinate with HSE Officers for preparation of the project specific HSE plan.
 Participate in HSE audits and inspections periodically
 Monitor and review accident statistics and advise the team as and when needed.
 Lead the investigation team in case of serious accidents or incidents.
 Advise management on revisions to HSE policy.
 Carry out regular and random safety inspections in site and record results.
 Advise site personnel concerning safe working practices and potentially dangerous occurrences.
 Identify safety-training needs for both management and operatives.
 Arrange necessary safety training and conduct in-house or with outside parties.
