3. What are keywords ?
Keywords are the words which are searched on search engine to get
information or inquiry about an particular topic by the visitor.
Basically what we type to search on search engines are keywords.
4. Types of keywords.
There are many types of keywords but some main types are:-
Short tail keywords
Long tail keywords
Fresh keywords
Evergreen keywords
Product defining keywords
Customer defining keywords
Geo- targeting keywords
LSI keywords
Intent targeting keywords
5. Short tail keywords
The keyword which contain three or less then three words are called short tail
keywords.
Example:- online shoes, pizza near me, smart phone,etc
6. Long tail keywords
Long tail keyword contain more then three words. They are more specific
than short tail keywords.
Example:- online shoes for men, digital marketing career in India,etc
7. Fresh keywords
Fresh keywords are those keywords which are trending in recent time , and
maybe not searched after some weeks or months.
Example:- Sachin and Seema, system pe system,etc.
8. Evergreen keywords
Those keywords which are searched regularly are called evergreen
keywords.
Example:- how to lose weight,how to earn money online,etc.
9. Product defining keywords
Those keywords which directly explains the type of product are called as
product defining keywords.
Example:- sports shoes , formal watches , iphone ,etc.
10. Customer defining keywords
These are person targeted keywords , like creating an imaginary profile for
targeted audience.
Example:- adidas shoes for women , Milton tiffin for students,etc
11. Geo targeting keywords
Those keywords which is searched for a particular geographical area like
city,state,nation,etc are called as geo targeting keywords.
Example:- digital marketing course in Udaipur, BMW showroom in Rajasthan,
etc.
12. LSI keywords
LSI keywords are those keywords which are similar to searched keywords
which are suggested by search engines at the bottom of the page.
Example:- when we search something on google and google suggests us some
similar keywords at the bottom of the page ,those keywords are LSI keywords.
13. Intent keywords
This is divided into three categories:-
Informational:- this keyword is searched only to get information
Example;- best shoes
Commercial:- here the visitor takes the next step and his intention is to buy
something
Example:- buy best shoes
Transactional:- this is the last step of intent keyword where visitor clears that he
wants to buy that particular product by his keywords
Example:- adidas shoes sale and offers.
