I learnt things raising my twins (Ishel and Nadie). Before they were born, I purchased parenting books, read parenting forums and searched the Internet to prepare to become a parent. Below are some of the things I have learnt raising twins.
The boy lies awake late at night, unable to sleep as his mind races with thoughts. He is hungry and malnourished, having to forage in the forest with his younger brother for food when their father goes hunting for days at a time. The boy is bothered because last year the village pastor preached about the importance of education, but his father does not value it and refuses to take him to school. As he lies awake, the boy's mind is filled with desperation and ideas about how he can access an education.
This document provides parents with updates from preschool for the upcoming week. It outlines activities the children will do in preschool, such as singing nursery rhymes and learning about sizes. It suggests activities for parents to do at home with their child, like reading books about starting school and singing nursery rhymes together. Finally, it provides notices about pick-up times, an upcoming church service for families to celebrate harvest, and illness policies to reduce spreading infections.

This document provides background information on a four-year-old girl named Ainsley to help her teachers and caregivers understand her needs. She has sensory processing disorder, ADHD, and FASD, which cause her difficulty with regulating emotions, transitions, and filtering external stimuli. The document outlines tips for supporting Ainsley, such as using weighted tools, brushes, and deep pressure to help calm her down, providing clear transitions, and being aware of signs she may be overwhelmed. It aims to help caregivers provide a supportive environment for Ainsley without labeling her.
How to Be the Great Mother Your Baby Deserves! Becoming a mother can be one of the most rewarding experiences of a woman’s life.
Having a baby can also be one of the most stressful and overwhelming experiences you’ll ever go through. Particularly, if you are not sure what you are supposed to do. This amazing little guide contains the information you need to know to raise a young child today.
Discover the Scientifically Proven Solution That Gets Your Baby to Sleep like Clockwork
Mary-Ann Schuler is a child psychologist and parenting expert with over 20 years of experience
She and her program Baby Sleep Miracle have been featured in publications such as “Parenting Magazine”, “Easy Parenting”, “Parents”
1) The document provides 5 tips for helping children sleep through the night, written by a certified sleep consultant.
2) The first tip is to understand how much sleep children need at different ages and establish a consistent bedtime routine.
3) The second tip is to create a consistent daily routine with set times for activities, meals and naps to make children feel secure.
4) The third tip is that children can develop a sleep debt from chronic poor sleep, and it takes time and consistency to pay off that debt through good sleep habits.
Adding a second child is intimidating and presents new challenges for mothers. Going from caring for one child to two is a huge transition, especially balancing the needs and schedules of children with different ages. The first few weeks with a newborn and older child can be chaotic as the mother tries to meet everyone's physical and emotional needs. Over time, mothers learn to accept that they cannot do everything and must trust their instincts. While feelings of failure and guilt are common, seeing the children interact and love each other makes raising two kids worth it, despite the difficulties.
This document contains interviews with 10 working mothers about how they balance work and family responsibilities. Some key strategies mentioned include being organized, outsourcing tasks like cleaning and cooking, exercising in the early mornings or evenings, delegating fully to competent helpers, and creating consistent routines and schedules for the children that are visible on calendars and fridge schedules. The women emphasize quality time on weekends with family and find fulfillment from their jobs despite feelings of guilt about not being able to attend all school events.

In many countries, there is strong pressure on children to do well in school. As a result, many children have little time to play or rest. As parents, we want the best for our children. However, while wanting the best for our children is natural, we can fall into the dangerous trap of overdoing it. Just how much emphasis does God want us to place on academic studies compared to other priorities?
Dr. Mehmet Oz, a famous physician from New Jersey, shares his insights on health, family, and happiness. He discusses common health concerns parents have about their children like puberty starting earlier in girls. He also talks about the rise in childhood obesity and how kids are less active nowadays. Dr. Oz emphasizes the importance of parental love and attention for children's emotional well-being. He discusses some common parenting mistakes like being overprotective and not letting kids fail at times.
The document discusses various anomalies observed in human behavior across different domains of life. Some key observations include:
1) Family behaviors like mother-in-laws having different standards for daughters and daughters-in-law, and men not helping with household chores despite expecting equality.
2) Educational behaviors like prioritizing English medium schools and coaching classes for prestige rather than learning.
3) Social status being judged by superficial factors like guests at functions, car ownership, and branded clothes rather than character.
4) Medical field relying heavily on tests rather than diagnosis, and doctors not properly communicating with patients.
5) Organizational behaviors like valuing "yes men" over experience and qualifications.
The document provides observations on anomalies in human behavior from the author's life experiences. Some key points include:
1) Family behaviors like mother-in-laws having different expectations of daughters-in-law than daughters, and men not helping with household chores despite expecting wives to adjust to their families.
2) Educational behaviors like prioritizing English medium schools, the growing prestige of coaching classes, and girls pursuing careers only to leave them after marriage.
3) Other behaviors around wasting resources like water and electricity despite shortages, spending lavishly on kids' birthdays but not donating to the needy, and focusing prayer on temples rather than finding God within.

This programme called "Little Souls" aims to holistically develop children by focusing on balancing their heart, body, mind and soul. It has been designed to improve children's happiness, behavior, concentration, confidence, creativity, intelligence and social skills through simple weekly exercises, affirmations and activities. Each session incorporates meditation, exercises, affirmations and group activities to help children develop self-awareness, confidence, and discover their true potential. The programme is inspired by Pranic healing teachings and aims to instill positive values in children.
The article discusses the importance of sleep for toddler development. It notes that toddlers need 11.5 hours of nighttime sleep on average to produce growth hormone and develop properly. Establishing a consistent bedtime routine helps toddlers wind down for sleep. Inadequate sleep can negatively impact behavior, learning, weight, and more. The article stresses that ensuring toddlers get the full amount of recommended sleep is vital for their health, happiness, and development.
The arrival of a new baby is often confusing and unwanted for an older sibling. Parents spend a lot of energy on preparations, and after the baby arrives, much of the family's attention involves meeting the newborn's basic needs. All this change can be hard for older siblings to handle.
It is recommended that parents tell their children about the impeding sibling-- making sure to cater the information to the age and maturity of the child-- in a timely manner.
Once the newborn has arrived, it is common for the older sibling to act out in some way as a way of getting back your attention. The older child often becomes aggressive, “acts out” or even regresses (wanting a bottle, wetting himself, crawling, etc.). Remember that these actions are normal and should not be ignored.
To get your older child to stop acting out, consider planning a day out without the newborn to remind the older child that you are still there for them.

This document provides an overview of wound healing, its functions, stages, mechanisms, factors affecting it, and complications.
A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.
LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like
Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems

Changes in vegetation cover refer to variations in the distribution, composition, and overall
structure of plant communities across different temporal and spatial scales. These changes can
occur natural.

Raising twins
1. What You Should Know About
Raising Twins
www.blunice.blogspot.com
2. www.blunice.blogspot.com
Making children is an easy task and a wonderful
experience. However, raising children is another
experience full of lessons and surprises. I learnt
things raising my twins (Ishel and Nadie). Before
they were born, I purchased parenting books, read
parenting forums and searched the Internet to
prepare to become a parent. Below are some of
the things I have learnt raising twins.
3. It is very tiresome to raise two babies
I learnt that raising twins is a complicated second job. I
wake up at night every other hour to calm either Ishel
or Nadie. Ishel usually wakes up crying for breast-
feeding. Whenever he cries, he wakes up his sister
Nadie. If I had one baby I would just wake up every
time he or she cries to feed and calm him to sleep. For
two babies, you have to feed both of them and calm
both of them. It is very tiresome but doable.
4. It becomes harder to go out anywhere at anytime as
it used to be
When I became a parent of two babies, my daily
schedule changed. Before my babies were born, I used
to go back home play my video games, listen to music
and sometimes hangout at a bar. Now, all this time is
spent playing, feeding, dawdling, car-seat-fiddling and
changing diapers for my babies. I think this would be
the same if I had one or two babies.
5. In general, my individual perspective changed
Before my babies were born, I had different values and
habits. I used not to save or value money. I used to spend
on anything I wanted but when my babies were born, I
started saving money.
Today, when I go out to spend money, I think about my
family especially my babies. I opened up an account for my
children. I do save a specific amount of money in that
account every two weeks. If I had one baby, I believe I
would be saving less in that account.
6. Babies do reach development milestones at a
different timeframe
My son start crawling at seven months and my daughter
started at her ninth month. My friends advised my family to
consult a doctor. I was stressed about this.
I remember my wife telling me to sleep and stop worrying.
However, time went first and things worked for the better. I
accepted that every baby develops on his or her own
timeframe. This would have been different if I had one
baby because I wouldn’t be able to compare.
