4. THE RULER TOP VIEW
The seam clamp depicted is an important part of the patent approved by the patent office. This is because it
is a totally new and faster way to mount equipment to a standing seam roof and in essence, is its own product
available for production. By simply modifying the seam clamp, it can become a solar railing mounting apparatus
that is far faster than standard S-5 clamps and similar products.
The reason for this is in its patented design. Rather than having two small bolts to bight into the seam of the
roof, it utilized a single, larger bolt with a wide tapered end. This means that rather than screwing two small
Allen bolts into the roof seam, one can simply screw the single bolt and have the clamp bight into the seam itself,
saving valuable time.
