A 23-year-old male patient presented to the hospital with severe abdominal pain in his right flank region and nausea. An ultrasound was initially unremarkable but the patient later received a diagnosis of 9.3 mm acute appendicitis with inflammation from an outside center and was admitted and underwent an emergency operation.
