1. Rickey Smiley and Russ Parr HBCU Tour

• The Rickey Smiley and Russ Parr Morning Shows will become the Official HBCU
Tour for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Football Classic
Games and Homecoming Events. HBCU Football Classic Games & Homecoming
Games reach an audience ranging from 20 – 60 thousand fans per game, every
year. Today, Black College Football Classic Games and Homecoming
Celebrations have become an integral part of the fall athletic environment at
Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
• The Rickey Smiley and Russ Parr HBCU Tour is designed to provide listeners an
opportunity to participate in one of the largest gatherings of African Americans
around the country. Rickey Smiley and Russ Parr will capitalize on the large
gathering of fans and expose them to a non-stop entertainment experience.
• The Rickey Smiley and Russ Parr HBCU Tour will maximize sponsors exposure by
providing exclusive opportunities for giveaways and product placement.
• The tour in each market will be full of activities including tailgate barbeque, live
on-air mentions, games, prizes, callbacks to the local stations, station vans, and
much more.
• A separate page on the Rickey Smiley and Russ Parr Morning Show websites will

history, it’s also about the significance of people, events, and things in our
own history.

“Health & Lifestyle” has always been a central theme of The Yolanda Adams
Morning Show. The Show “mantra” of Faith, Family, Friends & Fun is
reflected throughout the program each and every day. Listeners know that
Yolanda’s team wants them to be actively involved in their own personal
physical and emotional health and Lifestyle. Yolanda knows that a personal
commitment to health and spirit is key to a person’s sense of well-being.
Yolanda’s own healthy lifestyle is testimonial to that belief and that is reflected
and what she shares with her listeners everyday.

In 2009, Radio One launched the “Yolanda Adams Health & Lifestyle Tour” to
spread the word about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Our first year brought the
tour to five major cities.

In 2010, based on the huge success of the initial tour, Radio One increased the
