with a clear adhesive heatshrink sleeve and structural D-ring anchor point - no seperate

Tool wristbands are a great option for repeat use of a single
tool. Anchoring to your wrist means you can release your tool
to free up your hand for other activities. And pick-up it again
whenever you need. All our wristbands have eganomic velcro
fittings that can be easily adjusted with one hand, but unlike other
wristbands they have three unique features: expansion joints,
overlocks and retainer loops.
Besides providing extra comfort the expansion joint stretches to 9cm
with extreme force. This allows emergency release of the hand should
the wristband become caught in a hazard. The Velcro overlock and

VELCRO FASTENING
This system consists of three velcro webbing straps that
overlap each other in opposing directions, increasing the
tensile strength of the fastening. The wrapping style securing
method will accomodate captive tool belts and harness
straps, MEWP handrails or scaffold.
LOOPS FASTENING
Belt loops are the easiest fastening method. Simply thread
your belt directly through the belt loop on the top of your

Once a product passes the static test it goes through
dynamic testing. We attach a weight to the product,
elevate it and release it into a Fall Factor 2 to simulate
a dropped object event. And we don’t just do it once
- every product must survive the drop at least 3 times
before achieving fit-for-purpose status.
// Static Test
We attach the product to an anchor point and apply
pressure by hanging a weight from it. A product only
passes if it is able to withstand the load for a minimum of
three minutes without signs of damage or weakening.

SAFETY STANDARDS
Our quality control and testing protocols are
subject to the procedures set out in article 11b
of the European Council Directive 89/686/
EEC, in accordance with BS EN 364:1993 used
to test harnesses and lanyards for PPE. This
means our equipment is tested and conforms
to the highest standards ensuring it is fit-for-
purpose and can withstand greater forces
than would normally be experienced under
ordinary working conditions. We believe it’s
better to err on the side of caution in order
to protect you, your workers and your clients.
SAFE WORKING LOADS
At Leading Edge all structurally rated products
achieve a 47x safety factor. To reach these high
standards every item of safety equipment must
survive 1x static test and 3x dynamic tests with
appropriate test loads. Our approach, while
extremely precautionary, adds an unbeatable
level of safety to our products. You would have to
apply an incredibly heavy load over an extremely
long distance in order to see our them fail.
