The Quran and the Bible have several of the same types of beliefs. Here, the 5 Pillars of Islam are presented and compared with similar beliefs found in the Holy Bible.

This brief introduction about Islam, which is a contribution from one of our readers, clears many misconceptions people have about the most misunderstood religion in the world. It not only explains the Islamic faith but also gets into scientific miracles in the Quran, clearly proving that it could have only originated from the Creator Himself...

All the praise is due to Allâh, Who has guided us to His straight
path. We seek His forgiveness and we seek refuge in Him from
the evil of our own selves and our bad deeds.
‘Christianity – the Original and the Present Reality’ is a brief treatise
in which the author has attempted to open the Christians’
eyes to the true reality of their erroneous beliefs and to guide
them to the Truth.
All the Messengers of Allâh had tried their best, to convey the
correct creed to their peoples. Prophet ‘Isa, or Jesus, was also
among those upright Messengers who strove hard to guide his
people to the Truth, but most of them followed their whims and
desires and thus went astray.
Believing in the Oneness of Allâh is a basic fundamental in Islam.
This belief establishes the relationship between human beings and
their Rubb (Lord). As Muslims we firmly believe that Allâh is our
Creator, Sustainer and the true God; only He has the right to be
worshipped. There is no partner with Him. He has the free hand
in the disposal of all affairs.
I am thankful to Br. Muhammad bin ‘Abdullah As-Saheem who
has written this booklet in the Arabic language and given us permission
to translate it into English. I pray to Allâh to render this
booklet beneficial and be a source of guidance and blessing in
both this world and the Hereafter.
I also appreciate Darussalam’s staff, who spared no effort to
complete this work in a very good manner.

There are six articles of Faith in Islam:
1. Belief in Allah (God),
2. Belief in His Angels,
3. Belief in His Books,
4. Belief in His Messengers,
5. Belief in the Last Day, and:
6. Belief in the Divine Preordainment and Divine Decree (Qadhaa' and Qadr).
Is this old expression in the Bible? Can Christians say that this expression is true? Moses told Joshua to be strong and courageous. Jesus told us to fear not. Paul faced persecution.
Around the world, church buildings, many of them beautiful cathedrals, are being repurposed in many different ways - sometimes into locations for activities condemned by the Church.
Don't live out your relationship with God according to what others tell you. God wants to be closer to you than anyone else. And He will always provide everything you need. There are too many so-called church leaders who really don't care about you or God.
The Bible stands alone as an incredible ancient book. It is forcefully substantiated by thousands of ancient copies and thousands of fulfilled prophecies. It has always been powerful.
God created all we know, and all we can possible know, including His very thoughts today. But how He reveals this information to the hearts of individuals is like the wind. It can't be institutionalized.
Almost 2,000 years ago the Paul, the Apostle, traveled to the city of Corinth in what is now Greece and founded a Christian church there. That city still exists. Paul loved and obeyed Jesus dearly.
That Jesus Christ died because He was crucified is a well-established historical fact. Anybody who looks close enough will find the truth. Why was His death necessary? Why follow an executed criminal?
What you say is very important to God. He is not casual about spoken words. Your words are your fruit, your produce, and you are known by the fruit you bear. Do your words give life? Or are they poisonous? You choose your own words.
Historical Context for the Bible: RevelationRick Bruderick
It is wise to consider the historical context in which are found the actual events of the particular Bible passages we are studying. The first book we present is the last book of the Bible, the Revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Focus on where you WANT to go. Fix your eyes on your target. Why? Because you will certainly go to what you are looking at. But you can decide where to look.
When American founders declared independence from England, they did it with reference to God the Creator. What was their motive? How is independence important in Christians today?
The Bible records events in which Jesus discusses His mother. He gave public credit to His followers for being His mothers and His brothers. Spiritual mothers should be honored.
God gave Moses the 10 Commandments, and hundreds of other laws. Human institutions always create rules, commandments, laws and bylaws to keep their members institutionally moral.
The One who made Heaven and Earth and all of us who dwell here didn't plan on it being permanent. It will all be destroyed, with only a few survivors. Who survives? Those who love God.
The world is a dangerous place, especially for those who are called to love God and neighbor. Will you be attacked and suffer? If Jesus would have protected Himself, there would be no Easter to celebrate.
In northern Kentucky, along I-75, is a full-scale replica of Noah's Ark and, just 30 minutes away, along I-275, is the Creation Museum. These sites are committed to the literal Holy Bible.
The authorities in our lives expect our silence and agreement. If we speak up, we will be punished, excluded, or worse. God expects us to fear Him above all others. Jesus taught the same.
Jesus demonstrated what it means to serve others and the early Church demonstrated what it means to serve each other. If we call ourselves Christians, then we become servants to others.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

1. The Quran and the Holy Bible
www.Study2Go.org
5 Pillars of Faith
2. www.Study2Go.org
5 Pillars of Faith
1. Belief in God.
2. Belief in Angels.
3. Belief in Scripture.
4. Belief in Prophets.
5. Belief in Judgment Day.
3. Quran
Islam teaches:
1) There is one God: Allah.
2) Angels are active in the world.
3) Scripture, the Quran, is the voice of God.
4) God used prophets to deliver His words.
5) On Judgment Day, all will be judged.
4. Holy Bible
The Holy Bible says:
1) There is one God, Creator of all: Jesus.
2) God created and uses angels.
3) Scripture is the Bible’s 66 inspired books.
4) God uses prophets to speak His words.
5) On Judgment Day, all will be judged.
5. The Quran: Belief in God
There is one God: Allah. The Quran
repeats the critical concept that
God is absolutely, individually one,
and nothing created can be
compared to him, including Jesus.
Allah is all-knowing and all-
powerful. His will must be obeyed.
6. The Holy Bible: Belief in God
There is one God, the Creator of
everything. In the Beginning was the
Word. The Word was God. The Word
became flesh as Jesus.
7. The Quran: Belief in Angels
Angels are active in the lives of people.
In the past, they delivered messages to
prophets, like Abraham, Joseph,
Daniel, and Muhammad. Today, a pair
of little angels stay with each person,
recording the actions of their life: One
angel records good deeds, and the
other records bad deeds.
8. The Holy Bible: Belief in Angels
God created angels. One-third of them
were led by Lucifer (Satan) to rebel
against God. The became demons, and
God cast them out of Heaven. God has
used angels to deliver special messages
to people.
9. The Quran: Belief in Scripture
Scripture is the voice of God, as
delivered by Gabriel to
Muhammad and assembled into
the Quran. It was spoken and
written in Arabic, and remains
unchanged to this day.
10. The Holy Bible: Belief in Scripture
Scripture is the printed message of
God, 66 books written by men inspired
by God's Holy Spirit, some before Jesus
and some after Jesus. God protects
the message, and it cannot change.
11. The Quran: Belief in Prophets
God anointed prophets to deliver
His words. Throughout history,
starting with Adam, there have
been many prophets. Jesus was an
important prophet, born of the
virgin Mary. Muhammad is the last
prophet, and the example of the
perfect man.
12. The Holy Bible: Belief in Prophets
Throughout history God has set aside
special people to speak to and work
through. After Jesus returned to
Heaven, He sent His Holy Spirit to fill
and anoint people as His prophets to
speak His words. Even today, the Holy
Spirit is active in people to prophesy.
13. The Quran: Belief in Judgment Day
Judgment Day is coming for all people.
Each person will have their good and bad
deeds, as recorded by the angels,
weighed on a scale. The eternal destiny
of that person is determined by which
deeds weigh the most. Some good deeds,
like martyrdom, reciting all of the
beautiful names of Allah, and memorizing
the Quran are heavier than others.
14. The Holy Bible: Belief in Judgment Day
On Judgment Day, Jesus taught,
everyone who ever lived will stand
before God and be separated, like a
shepherd separates sheep and goats.
The sheep are the ones who showed
material love to the needy, and are
welcomed into Heaven. The goats are
the ones who ignored the needy, and
they are sent to eternal punishment.
