 Name: Adam
 Ethnicity: White, British
 Age: 18 (student)
 Gender: Male
 Social Class: Middle class
 Interests: Gigs, clothing, music festivals/gigs, being themselves
 Dislikes: Mainstream clothing/music, reality TV
 Why they like indie music: Individual and raw music with real
instruments as apposed to electronic music
 How often they listen to indie music: Daily
 Favourite bands: Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, the Vaccines
 Favourite radio stations/channels: NME TV, KERRANG!, Q
 What would they like in their magazine: Gig information, articles about
their favourite artists, upcoming/new artists, indie fashion trends
 There are a growing number of people that
enjoy the nature of indie music, and they
appear to be quite open minded about who
they like because of their individual traits. For
this reason, you could put a range of different
people on the cover of the magazine and they
wouldn’t be prejudiced or assume anything
    about the artist
 This gave me the freedom to choose whoever
I liked, and in the end I went with a band
consisting of three white British teenagers
