This document describes an API for classifying web traffic and identifying automated traffic. It discusses the problems of intellectual property and data being vulnerable online from scraping, spamming, account takeovers etc. caused by automated traffic. The proposed solution is a real-time HTTP traffic classifier using statistical analysis and behavior to identify and report on automated traffic through a JSON API and web dashboard. It describes the product, how it works through custom metadata calls and classification, and a freemium business model to attract customers and offer paid protection. The progress so far is a prototype, and next steps include fundraising, product market fit, customer acquisition and marketing.

“Spyglass” (Free):
- Attract customers with free insight into traffic
quality
- Max 10k API calls monthly
- Monitoring only and cannot stop inbound
traffic.
“Bulwark” (Paid):
- Starts at $50 monthly, per 500k API Calls
- Active traffic protection
