This document discusses time using metaphors of paper and money. It views time as a limited resource like paper that can be used creatively through activities like writing, drawing, reading or wasted through unproductive actions. It encourages focusing current time on important tasks and goals rather than living according to others' expectations. The document ends by quoting Steve Jobs advising people to follow their heart and intuition to find true purpose.

Inside the mind of a master procrastinator - Tim Urban67 Golden Rules
So in college, I was a government major, which means I had to write a lot of papers. Now, when a normal student writes a paper, they might spread the work out a little like this. So,you know--
You get started maybe a little slowly, but you get enough done in the first week that, with some heavier days later on, everything gets done, things stay civil.
And I would want to do that like that. That would be the plan. I would have it all ready to go,but then, actually, the paper would come along, and then I would kind of do this.

If you could increase your brain power, then theoretically you could accomplish almost anything.
While having a healthy and strong body is highly important as well, most of us would probably agree that our activities are more reliant on our cognitive abilities rather than our physical ones.
Many people have computer-based jobs for instance, and this means that we need to use our brains to handle data, to manipulate software, or to come up with business strategies.
Much of our success comes down to our ability to interact with others which is very much dependent on our intelligence and brain power.
With Smarter Brain training guide you will learn the ways you can bring about tangible, measurable improvements in your life by focussing on ways to increase your IQ and your focus.

3. What is Time?
W hat is time? Time is an abstract concept; it is like
many things. There are many metaphors for time,
and I prefer these two metaphors: paper and money.
T ime is like paper. You can draw,
write, fold, cut or burn it.
However you can’t restore it. When
time passes by, everything you
had is gone and can’t be changed.
4. E veryone has 24 hours in a day. It’s like
a stack of papers. Maybe we write all
day, then we publish a special book that you
can read now. Or if you draw on paper you
will then have a comic book. I don’t like to
waste time, like playing more video games.
It’s like you burn your paper and maybe
it lets you get warm (happy) for a little bit
of time, but in fact you have wasted it.
Essence of Paper
What You Do I like to read, like magazines, books,
comics, novels and portfolios, because
With Your Paper they always need you to spend time
to finish theme. It’s a type of record
on paper. Books are the essence of an
author’s life and experience; magazines
are the trend of the world; comics and
novels can excite any imagination; portfolios
are somebody’s work and they are proud of it.
All of that can let me think, judge and grow.
5. E very paper has information and time too.
When we see people, we can see their
personality, like: wise, patient, enthusiastic
or sexy… these personalities are all about
what you do in your time. You make changes and the time
to change back to yourself, that’s what we will see.
Make Your
Personalities
6. Get Free & Clear
Thoughts
It’s Like
Chinese Origami
W hen I have to spend
time doing something,
it’s like the Chinese Origami.
I have papers which are like
time. I need to think, more
importantly, I need to fold or
cut my papers step by step.
It is like using time to finish
those things. When I do things
well, it’s just like I finished
a very beautiful origami.
I like to write when I have time. I always
feel free using my mind and my hands. I
am thinking about what it is I am recording.
It records my emotions at that moment. More
importantly, it helps me to clean up my thinking
when I have many things have to do. I will know
what is important and what I have to do now.
7. Importantly
W hen I was young, I heard “time is money”.
Sometimes I like this metaphor, especially
when I spend time to exercise, like playing football.
It’s just like an investment. I have invested
time in my body, so I have a healthy body. I’ll
have more time to do other things, and I’ll be
happy when I exercise, I gain two advantages
by a single move, that’s why I love to exercise.
W hen we make changes in paper, it is hard to
restore, even though we have white out and an
eraser, it cannot clean paper clearly, that’s why we have
so many movies and novels talking about time travel.
Even the sage, he can be
wrong with his life. So
I think we should focus Time is Money, too
on the papers in front of
our eyes, like what we
should do now and what
we want the paper to be.
8. “Your time is limited, so don't waste it liv-
ing someone else's life. Don't be trapped by
dogma - which is living with the results of
other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of
other's opinions drown out your own inner
voice. And most important, have the cour-
age to follow your heart and intuition. They
somehow already know what you truly want
to become. Everything else is secondary.”
-Steve Jobs
