Applications (MCA)
Master of Computer Application Programme
was started in the department of CSE in the year
1991 with an intake of 30 and subsequently
increased to 60 in the year 2000. The MCA
department has been formed full-fledged since
September 2008. The Department has well
qualified and experienced faculty with one
Professor, four Associate Professors, two Senior
Assistant Professors and four Assistant
Professors. The department has good
infrastructure facilities with full fledged
laboratories. The staff members are deputed to
participate in International conferences,
Symposia, Workshops and Refresher courses to
keep in pace with recent developments in the
field of Information Technology.
About the Workshop
It’s a power-packed training organized for young
and dynamic minds on college campus. Topics in
the workshop center upon strengthening
fundamental concepts. Python is a general-purpose
language, which means it can be used to build just
about anything, which will be made easy with the
right tools/libraries. Professionally, Python is great
for backend web development, data analysis,
artificial intelligence, and scientific computing.
Many developers have also used Python to build
productivity tools, games, and desktop apps, so
there are plenty of resources to help you learn how
to do those as well.
Learning will be imparted through group and
individual exercises, case studies, quizzes, concept
hand-outs etc. Certificate is awarded to each
participant on the successful completion of the
workshop.
