Chemical discovery
In 1835, the chemist Henri
Victor Regnault observes for the
first time a white solid mass inside
a flask of vinyl chloride that had
been left exposed to sunlight. For
almost 100 years, industry was
not able to master that stiff and
fragile material.
Industrial origins
For the first time, in 1926, the
tyres producer B.F. Goodrich
Company developed a method
to work PVC blended with
various addivitives. The result
was a flexible and easily processed
material that soon achieved
widespread commercial use.
A wide diffusion
With the outbreak of World War
II in 1939 and, above all, with the
post war economic boom, PVC
becomes one of the most used
plastic materials in the world.
However, it has a limit: coating
systems are complex and it is not
possible to be creative.

In 2012, after six years of studies,
Renner Italia launches its 1k
and 2k water-based coatings
of Rennerplast range. In that
moment, PVC officially enters the
future. PVC objects can be coated
in any colour and in any aesthetic

In two simple steps, Rennerplast topcoat looks perfect.
After a cleaning of the surface with compressed air,
remove the protective film.
On the PVC surface, apply the AP M088 cleaner,
with a microfiber cloth or a scotch brite.
Spread 125-150 µm of Rennerplast coating
in one single coat.

Color System, Rennerplast offers

means of volumetric dosage machines

of each converter:

test UNI EN ISO 2409, with no detached parts.

Rennerplast coatings follow UNI EN ISO 4892 norm.
PVC samples protected by Rennerplast passed all durability tests
conducted in exterior. These tests were made by the most respected
German research institutes. The extraordinary performances of
Rennerplast coatings are the result of the use of pigmented pastes,
ultra resistant against light and weather.
