Duties and responsibilities as an Online Quality Controller
i. Strict adherence on CCPs (Critical Control Points) and carrying out HACCP in
case of an identified hazard.
ii. Ensuring strict adherence of SOPs at the production areas
iii. Ensuring the right and clean PPEs are worn at the production areas
iv. Ensuring strict adherence to Hygiene in production areas
v. Rejection of the non conforming product and putting it in the quarantine
until the decision is made
vi. Ensuring only the authorized personnel get into production areas
vii. Check the intermediate and finished product to ensure the required quality
viii. Ensure strict adherence to the set standards during packaging of the finished
products.
ix. Sampling of retention samples per batch for future reference
x. Keeping records of daily product quality checks (using Online Quality Checks
or QCs SOPs)
xi. Use of Quality Tools in case of a noted non conformance during production
to track the root cause (e.g. drawing fish born diagrams, Using pie charts
,checklists, histograms scatter dig rams e.t.c)
xii. Facilitate in the trainings of initial and new employees on Preliquisite
programmes like: GMPs.GHPs, ISO 2200:2005 FSSC ,18001 OHSAS and ISO
14001:2004)
