3. FEEL…
Waste water flows from the public
water tank near our school.
The stagnated water emits foul smell
and also spreds diseases like Dengu,
Chickungunea, etc.,
It also pollutes the land.
3
4. Imagine…
Discussed with our classmates and
found some solutions to clear the
stagnated water.
4
5. Imagine…
Make a pit filled with stones and sand to
draw the water near the tank.
Drain the waste water into the nearby
water canal.
5
6. Imagine…
Change the place of the stagnation once
in a while.
Get permission from the grove’s owner ,
which is near the tank to irrigate the trees
by the stagnated water.
6
7. DO…
Our village is near the river Cauvery.
So our first idea is not suitable.
Draining the waste water into the
canal will pollute the canal water.
Change the stagnation frequently will
pollute more land.
So we chose the fourth one.

8. We met the grove’s owner
along with our
Headmaster, Teachers
and our Village Education
Committee President. 8
9. We got his
Permission to
irrigate the grove by
the stagnated water.
9
10. With the help of
our friends we
form bed around
the coconut trees.

15. Share…
We shared our experience of
removing the stagnated and
drainage water without disturbing
environment with our schoolmates,
parents, villagers and Village
Education Committee members….
