Lydia Jones proposes a three-layer public art piece made of tempered glass, stainless steel, and cedar wood, aimed at capturing the layered history of the site through archival images. The installation will feature a backlit glass layer with etched imagery, a partially overlaid laser cut stainless steel layer, and a cedar wood layer carved into a tree. The artwork will highlight themes related to local lumber workers, former cottages, and the history of White Rock.
