Stanza 1
1. Praise Yah! 1. Praise Yah!
‫א‬ I will confess Yahweh with my whole heart Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh,
‫ב‬ in the council of the upright he greatly delights in his commandments.
and in the congregation.
‫ג‬ 2. Great are the works of Yahweh, 2. His posterity will be mighty in the land;
‫ד‬ searched out by all who delight in them. a generation of upright ones, he will be blessed.
‫ה‬ 3. His acts are honorable and majestic, 3. Wealth and riches are in his home,
‫ו‬ and his beneficence endures forever. and his beneficence endures forever.
Stanza 2
‫ז‬ 4. He has caused his wonders to be 4. He comes forth against the darkness,
memorialized; a light for the upright,
‫ח‬ Yahweh is gracious and compassionate. he is gracious and compassionate and beneficent.
‫ט‬ 5. Food he provided to those who fear him; 5. A good man, lending generously
‫י‬ he remembers his covenant forever. he orders his affairs with justice.
‫כ‬ 6. The power of his works he proclaimed 6. Surely forever he will never be shaken;
To his people,
‫ל‬ by giving them the heritage of truly the remembrance of the beneficent man
other nations. will be forever.
Stanza 3
‫מ‬ 7. The works of Yahweh are faithful and just; 7. He will not fear of evil tidings;
‫נ‬ all his directives are trustworthy. his heart is steadfast trusting in Yahweh.
‫ס‬ 8. They are established forever and ever. 8. His heart is sustained, he will have no fear;
‫ע‬ to be performed in faithfulness and uprightness. he will even look down over his foes.
‫פ‬ 9. He sent redemption to his people; 9. He liberally gave to the poor;
‫צ‬ he commanded his covenant forever. his beneficence endures forever;
‫ק‬ Holy and awesome is his name. his horn will be exalted in honor.
Stanza 4
‫ר‬ 10. The beginning of wisdom 10. The wicked man will see and be vexed;
is the fear of Yahweh;
‫ש‬ Good understanding belongs he will gnash his teeth and waste away.
to all those practicing it.
‫ת‬ His praise endures forever. The desire of the wicked will perish.
