In class, students finalized props for an upcoming protest scene, including a sign reading "Boris Lied People Died" and "Freedom" and a flag spray painted with the words "Transparent Animals". They used the school's DT department and materials like wood and a cotton sheet to create the sign and flag. A laser cutter was used to make a stencil for neatly spray painting the flag. While time-consuming, the process resulted in props that looked realistic for the scene.

1. ■ Today in class, we finalised some of
our key props, including a flag and a
sign poster than we will use in the
protest scene.We made use of our
schools DT department to create
these props, we used wood for the
sign poster and wrote 'Boris Lied
People Died' and 'Freedom' on it using
sharpies. For the flag, we used a
cotton sheet and spray painted
'Transparent Animals', the name of the
protesters, on it.To do this, we had to
first create a stencil using the laser
cutter which we could then spray paint
over, for our text to be neat and
realistic. All in all, this was a very time-
consuming process, but it paid off as
the props turned out very well.
