A CHALLENGING COURSE.
I enjoyed this course, it opened my eyes to the importance of making sure what is
going out into the public domain is t for purpose. I did nd it tough, but I am glad I
completed it.

Not a bad introduction to copyediting and proofreading. It was certainly worth it for
the vastly reduced price, and helped o er some clear di erentiation between the two
aspects. However, there were a number of errors including typos and missed words,
incorrect examples and inconsistencies. Some of the questions in the paper were
worded in an unusual manner too.
This is a comprehensive and useful introduction to the roles of
proofreader and copy-editor, and it conveys the information in an
accessible yet academic way. However, there are some errors in the
text throughout, which I had assumed were there for practice but
which remained even in the mock exam and nal exam… might be
worth xing!

