2. WHAT IS MERCHANDISING?
Like any product merchandise is very important in making sales or
drawing attention to it. Merchandising itself, relates to the actual product
up for sale. This therefore becomes a way of enticing or selling the
product as well as producing funds or profit from the merchandise.
Effectively it becomes a way of selling the main product by using others to
market it.

3. OUR MERCHANDISE
All of these are created with a
simplistic approach, in the sense
that they achieve what we
wanted to - in also getting our
production team known through
the merchandise. These designs
are fun and fashionable,
meaning people are more likely
to purchase and use - creating a
further promotion of the product
to other people that may be
around i.e friends or family, or
maybe even passers-by.
4. HOW WILL THIS HELP US?
Merchandise is a great way in enabling us to promote our product.
However, by having this it also creates a method in producing revenue and
money.
Furthermore, the idea of the ‘super-fan’ is greatly looked upon in
producing products that sell. For example, someone who is a dedicated fan,
would more than likely purchase merchandise or products from us as an
artist, as well as our actual product.
In light of this, they too become a format for us to promote our product
through, as they are likely to post about and share this with people on
social media.
Therefore this widens our target audience, broadening it to wider lengths
and reaching people that it wouldn’t necessarily do otherwise.
