Promise Poem
The poem is a plea from a student to their teacher to make them feel valued, involved, and excited about learning. It asks the teacher to smile, notice the student, teach them well by showing rather than just telling, help when things get hard, and promise to love, engage, excite and teach the student so they are ready and wanting to learn. In return, the student promises to focus with their attention and heart.
