SNC-Lavalin was awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract by Saudi Aramco to expand asphalt production facilities at its Ras Tanura Refinery in Saudi Arabia. The expansion will increase production capacity from 22 thousand barrels per day to 42 thousand barrels per day. SNC-Lavalin will provide comprehensive engineering, procurement, installation, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning services to complete the project within 18 months. Additionally, SNC-Lavalin was awarded an $800 million EPC project in the Middle East to develop infrastructure and processing facilities for a gas field.
