This document summarizes an investigation into temperature losses in Cornell's Combined Heat and Power Plant. It uses Six Sigma tools like Fishbone Diagrams, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, and Design of Experiments to identify inefficiencies in the system and find ways to reduce heat loss. The analysis found it could reduce heat loss by over 300% by varying significant variables. Extending the analysis over time could help assess pipe deterioration and recommend replacements.
