This progress report summarizes work done in March and April 2019 by Group 13 on their mobile phone control project. The report acknowledges those who provided guidance and support. It then provides an abstract on the project, which involves developing an Android app called "Mobile Securer" that allows users to remotely control their phone via SMS, including changing profiles, diverting calls, fetching contacts, and more. 3. ABSTRACT
Mobile technology is widely used in all classes of society. It is the most
effective way of communication. Nowadays phones are used worldwide
and provide many applications which were earlier provided only by
desktops or laptops. These smart phones have brought a big change in
the technical field. The most popular design earlier used is VNC (Virtual
Networking Computing) but here we are using more generalized
architecture which is applicable for android operating systems. And here
we are making an app for Android mobile phone which must be installed
on our phone. Here we are Provide various solution for different problem
like, if we have forgotten our android phone at home, and also in case if
we have lost the phone, and in case you have misplaced your phone at
home and had kept it in silent mode then ringing the phone to find it, is
not an option.
Mobile Securer it’s an Android application which allows users to control
their mobile phones remotely through any other phone by just sending an
SMS. This application does not required GPRS/Wi-Fi to run it. There are
number of features in the application which provide a wholesome solution
to the users like Profile Changer, Call Divert, and Call rejects with auto SMS,
Contact fetch and some others.

4. FEATURES OF “MOBILE SECURER”
Profile Changer – Changes the profile if you are unable to
find your phone. If your phone is on silent and you are
unable to find it, just send an SMS to change the profile and
make it ring.
Call Divert – Sometimes you do not have your phone but
you also don’t want to miss out on any calls. Send an SMS
to make your phone divert calls from your phone to any
other phone
Contact Fetch – Allows fetching any number of contacts
from your phonebook. Just send the contact name and get
his number on SMS.
Retrieve Messages – Retrieve the text messages received
on your phone.
Bluetooth & Wifi – User can turn ON/OFF the Bluetooth &
Wifi.

EXISTING SYSTEM
Currently there is no Android application like this on
Google Play Store. Which allows users to control
their mobile phones remotely through any other
phone by just sending an SMS. This application
does not required GPRS/Wi-Fi to run it.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
Did you misplace or forget your Android Phone at home and
urgently you required some data from it How can you do this?
It’s very simple! With the help of Android application (Mob
Securer) user can control their phone via just sending a
normal SMS.
This App is quite simple to use as compere to some other
complex GUI. This app is made to keep in mind that a user of
any age can make use this app. especially for a Business
person. If the using 2 phone (usually a Business man keep
multiple phones) if he/she misplaced or forget his phone.
They can control their mobile phone remotely through any
other phone by just sending an SMS.

13. CONCLUSION
Mobile Securer is a powerful solution android app for online
communication. Through this we can find fetch the data of the second
phone easily. Using this application we can also change the phone modes
such as (Silent & Ringing Mode), divert the call to another number. Also
can turn the Bluetooth & Wi-Fi (ON/OFF). Power off the phone this all can
be done by simply sending an SMS.
And as a future enhancement there is a provision that takes a photo of the
surrounding places or a person whom the phone is with, using the front or
back camera of the phone and sends that photo to the mail, which will be
set when the application is logged in. else there may be the few more
features can be upgraded like manage volume of ringtone, music and
more. Get the level of the device battery. Manage the display’s brightness.
Get the location of the device.
It is obvious that this android application is of great importance in this
smart phone ruling era. There will be more people that is likely will use this
software as it consist of technology that gives more chance of the retrieval
of the lost phone. As the application does its work silently and it has only
administrator privilege there is less chance to manipulate the software.
