Dr. Saeed Ahmad Shaikh received his Doctorate in English Literature from London and has been teaching English drama, poetry, and novels at leading institutions in Islamabad and Rawalpindi for over 40 years. He is an advocate of Romanticism and an expert in English Romantic poetry. Some of his key teachings include the importance of specialization, constructive criticism, having a global approach as a scholar, objective teaching, and not violating peace. He has a large fan following that includes professors and professionals who he inspired during his career. Due to his decades of teaching excellence, his students request the government to award him with the Nishan-e-Pakistan, Pakistan's highest civil medal.
