Patient Search
The patientsearchis yourmechanismtofinda patientandgainaccess to theirrecord. The patientsearchfeature in
[product] offersthree mechanismstoaccessa record.
Last 10 Dropdown
The last 10 Dropdownallowsyoutoquicklyreturntoa recentlyaccessedpatientrecordbyselectingapatientinthe drop
downlist.
QuickSearch
The Quick Search function allows you to perform a type forward search against all patients with whom you have an
existingrelationshipwith. Asyou type apatient’slastname intothe searchfieldthe systemlooksforpatients you have a
relationship with and presents them in a drop down. This allows the user to select and quickly search for the record.
AdvancedSearch
If you are not able to find your patient you can do a general patient search by doing an advanced search. The advance
searchtakesany informationyouplace intothe searchfieldandprovidesyouwithall the matches to your query. It gives
you the option to add in additional information to further narrow your search. By clicking on any of the results you can
see the full complement of demographic available as well as allowing you to declare a relationship to a patient.

RelationshipManagement
Priorto viewingapatientrecordyoumust first establish a relationship with the patient. The relationship describes the
context of care under which you will view the record as well as creates a notification profile for you in regards to the
patient. Basedonthat profile youwill receivenotificationsaboutnew documentspublishedaboutaselectedpatient. An
example of a relationship is a “PCP” relationship.
Add a relationship
To add a relationship, clickthe addrelationshipbuttonandselectthe mostappropriate relationshipfromthe dropdown.
Edit a relationship
To edita relationship,clickthe editrelationshipbuttonandselectthe mostappropriate relationshipfromthe dropdown.
Remove a relationship
To remove a relationship,clickthe Remove relationshipbutton.

relationship is a primary care provider (PCP) relationship.
