2. Sports drink
Product name- Energize
Slogan “Power Up”
Colour of label- black and red with a
yellow lightening bolt
Target audience- athletes and
teenagers who enjoy sport
Gender of appeal- both
3.
4. Clip of two or more characters playing basketball on a court.
Must consider that in both adverts we must show at least one of
each gender to appeal to both of the gender.
Each sport will have two main characters, will be a hero and a
villain, may have more than one of both of these depending on how
many sports we chose to record.
First show the villain winning the sports game against the hero (e.g.
villain winning a point in basketball)
Then show the hero frustrated that he/she is losing and needs to win
the game, they will then have the drink and seem to be improved.
Show the hero performing much better at their sport and eventually
win the sports game, this will show that it is down to the sports drink
why they won.
At the end of the advert we will show the product close up with the
brand name and slogan being shown visually and vocally.
5. Advert two will basically be the same as advert one, but it will be a
clip of a jogger running through different scenes.
The advert will work in the same way as the first advert as it will show
the main character, hero, running but the runner begins to get tired
and starts to struggle (in the same way that the first advert shows
that the hero is losing).
It will then show the hero drinking the sports drink, Energize, and it will
show how the sports drink improves the energy as they will be able
to continue running.
The ending will also be the same with a close up of the sports drink
and a voice over of the brand name and slogan with the picture of
the bottle being on the screen.
The difference with these adverts will be that one advert will be
aimed at either male or females, and then the other advert will be
appealing to the opposite gender to ensure that we attract both
genders to the energy drink.
6. The sponsorship will be of football as we have
already decided that we will be using this sport.
We decided to use this sport as we will be linking
the advert into the radio advert.
As the sponsorship is only short we will have to show
the hero taking the ball past the villain and then
scoring a goal.
Either before or after the hero scoring we will show
him drinking the Energize sports drink.
As in the other adverts we will be showing a voice
over and a picture of the Energize and slogan
‘Power up’.
7. As stated in the sponsorship advert we will
be doing a football commentary in the
radio advert.
We will be doing a voice over of football
commentators talking about a football
team winning a game and the winning
team are all drinking Energize which is
emphasized by the commentators.
We will also use a male and female voice
over in this advert to appeal to both
genders.
