The studies examined students and patients in Brazil, India, and the United Kingdom using mixed methods, quantitative, and clinical observation approaches. Many did not utilize a theoretical framework, instead comparing results to past relevant research. The document also identifies a gap in the literature around human resource management in Malaysia in 2015, suggesting using mixed methods and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework to study employees.
