The document describes experimenting with effects processors to transform the sound of a simple tap into something unearthly. Settings for reverb, EQ, and damping were tweaked to make the tap sound like echoing in a large metal container of water. Additional effects gave the sound a throbbing, nauseating quality, dramatically changing it from harmless to menacing and atmospheric.

1. Using the FX Ambience, I
most just tweaked with
each dial like Dry+Wet, time
and EQ+Damping settings.
This give the original sound
of a tap, makes it sound like
a hot block of metal cooling
down in a vat of water.
Using the LOST TECHNOLOGY FX, combined with the
Ambience FX, makes the sound seem extra-terrestrial.
Using the same technique as I did with the Ambience FX, I
just turn most dials until I got a sound which I like. It gives
a throbbing effect and is quite nauseating
From the starting product, this sound has changed
dramticly, going from a harmless tap running to a
menacing throbbing sound which brings its own
atmosphere with it.
