2. Fun cooking is very important on the “Princess Cooking Academy” Facebook page. Princess
products are highlighted and Princess comes in contact with its target audience.
3. The Facebook page supports the Princess Cooking Academy contest, in which Princess was
looking for the best home chef in the Netherlands.
4. An app has been designed in which fans could vote for the finalists of the Princess Cooking
Academy contest. By voting, they could win a week stay in the Princess hotel in Seefeld, Austria.
5. Facebook Ads have been used to increase the reach of the Facebook app. For example,
sponsored stories have been applied to promote this post.
6. On December 17th, 2012, the finale of the Princess Cooking Academy contest took place in
Amsterdam. Laura van den Maagdenberg went home with the honour of being best home chef
in The Netherlands en Johan Metselaar received an honourable mention.
7. Your Social is responsible for creating content and engagement on the Facebook page.
8. Princess organises more events for Facebook fans. For example, fans got the opportunity to test
one of the new machines, the Yonanas, during a special testpanel evening.
