In order to avoid false contacts caused by oxidation, that can always cause malfunctioning
after some years of operation in screw-down pallets, the LDU62-HG board is welded on
the carrier as well as all high Power UHF RES-Ingenium Pallets. This give the customer
the guarantee of uninterrupted service of the unit even after several years from installation.

LDU62-HG is the perfect solution to drive the ultimate High Power Pallet from RES-
Ingenium, the LDU688XLD, in both broad-band or Doherty configuration system.
The LDU688XLD offers the flexibility of the broadband version and the high efficiency of
the Doherty circuitry (>40% typical RF efficiency) in a Fast & Easy product configuration,
“all-in-one”, becoming a real innovative “Pallet-system” solution.
Thanks to the
system by RES-Ingenium, our customer can buy either a broad-band pallet and then
reconfigure it into a Doherty solution or can buy directly a Doherty solution and then
change the frequency on the field, if it become necessary.
LDU688XLD has been defined - by expert broadcasting engineers – “The most flexible,
simple, powerful and efficient pallet-system available today for digital application”
(220Wrms in DVB and 350Wrms in ATSC).

LDU688XLD can be supplied either with Manual or SMARTBIAS® option (IR Control).
LDU688XLD can be supplied already tuned on the customer working channel (Picture
here above) or in his broadband version, covering the entire UHF broadcasting band (470-
862MHz).
If purchased in his broadband version the unit can be converted any time to a high
efficiency Doherty Power Amplifier pallet just changing the combining board at the output
and resetting the bias of the two amplifier section. A simple operation that can be done by
a normal skilled technician in few minutes, with basic tools.
