Professor Roop Appointed to Human
Resources Leadership Forum Board
Roop is a professor of Human Resources Management and area
mentor to HR faculty
ST. LOUIS – Robert Roop, a professor of Human Resources Management at Webster University
for the past 27 years, was appointed to the board of directors for the Human Resources
Leadership Forum (HRLF) of the Greater Washington DC metropolitan area, it was announced
earlier this month.
Roop has been a professor at Webster University since 1988. He has a bachelor’s degree from
Roanoke College and a master’s degree from Towson University. Besides teaching, Roop also
serves as the area mentor for all Human Resources Management Professors at Webster
University.
The HRLF is an organization where senior HR professionals, learning organization executives
and organizational leaders responsible for managing human talent discuss common issues,
review current trends in human resources, and set recommendations for the profession. For more
