2. Background
• Stephen has had many acting jobs in he past
with examples being Blackadder, so he is a
good choice to adding a sense of humour to
the show.
• Stephen is also a very intelligent and
intellectual man which fits with the shows
educational feel.
3. Presentation
• Stephen often wears a formal outfit; tie, shirt and
blazer. This is to show his high class and
intellectual characteristics.
• He often acts like a school teacher or tutor. Often
teaching the contestants whilst at the same time
having fun around them. This makes the audience
think despite being uncommonly intelligent, he’s
still a down-to-earth man.
• His role in the show is the quiz master, someone
who knows the answer to all the quistions he’ll
be asking
