A pumpkin carving contest will be held on October 29th at Burt's Farm from 10am to 5pm. Contestants must register between October 1st and October 29th at 9am by dropping off a winter coat at Must Ministries and filling out a waiver form. The top three winners will receive a $250 Publix gift card for 1st place, a $100 Publix gift card for 2nd place, and a Publix fall basket for 3rd place.

Kate and John adopt a 9-year old Russian orphan named Esther, but their marriage is strained. Kate begins to feel Esther is manipulative and disturbed. She discovers Esther is not who she pretends to be and has a mysterious past. Their son is hostile to Esther while their deaf-mute daughter is enchanted by her at first.

While our narrative fits the horror genre with a protagonist who appears to help but is the killer, we don't fully use Propp's character archetypes. We show the killer's mental instability and how it affects those close to him, with flashbacks revealing his declining mental state.
