An 80-year-old female patient was admitted to the hospital on October 26th with 30% burns from a lamp accident. She developed sepsis, multiple organ dysfunction syndrome, and exacerbation of her pre-existing bronchial asthma. Despite extensive treatment over two weeks including antibiotics, respiratory support, and cardiac medications, her condition deteriorated with falling oxygen levels, increased respiratory distress, and low urine output. She suffered a sudden cardiac arrest on November 8th and died despite resuscitation efforts. The cause of death was determined to be the combined effects of her extensive burn injuries, sepsis, multiple organ failure, asthma exacerbation, and cardiac arrest.
