A 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck Kermanshah, Iran in November 2017, killing 620 people and injuring about 12,000. Many homes were destroyed and survivors were left without shelter, food, or clothing. In response, people across Iran donated over 63 billion rials in cash and supplies to help the victims. Volunteer groups and government organizations assisted with relief efforts like building new homes and providing aid. The Fereshtehand Children's Institute also sent volunteers to support the earthquake victims during this difficult time.
