2. Background of study
English education is an essential part in our life as an effort to
create human be able to communicate with each other. English
has varieties both written and spoken thought formal and informal.
So that teacher introduces English to students. Basically, English
has core skill namely, listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
In line with Terasne, T., & Setianingsih, T (2020) described that in
learning English there are four core skills should be mastered by
the students, namely; listening, speaking, reading those skills
emphasized in school’s curriculum then speaking skill one of the
most important skill that must be mastered by the language
learners, it because of speaking plays important role in learning
language

3. Background of study
English as an International language. it is learnt all over the world
as first language and second language, but in Indonesia English
learnt as first foreign language. It means that English has very
important role and become a language that must be mastered in
this competitive world.
In Indonesia, English become a compulsory subject at school. it
has been taught since at junior high school, at senior high school
to university. Unfortunately, most of the graduations are still unable
to communicate in English well. Such as that condition happened
at Mts. Al- Muini.
