Malaysia's bilateral trade with the USA has grown steadily from 2014 to 2017, with exports increasing from RM116.7 billion to RM158 billion and imports rising from RM52.3 billion to RM55.7 billion over that period. The USA is Malaysia's third largest trading partner and fourth largest export destination, as well as the third largest source of imports.
